Premium Block-Paved Driveway Transformation in Farnham
The Scope
This project involved upgrading a single-space concrete driveway into a double-space block-paved driveway that’s both practical and visually appealing. The client wanted a solution that provided more parking space while still complementing the property.
The Build
As the driveway was on a steep slope, the correct levels and sufficient drainage were critical elements for this project. The original concrete driveway was excavated, and suitable sub-base was installed and compacted ensuring the correct level was maintained.
Channel drains were installed at the bottom of the driveway to manage surface water run-off, directing water away from the property. A subtle detailing to define a clear pathway to the front door, enhancing both function and curb appeal. Despite the challenge of a steep incline, we delivered a durable and well-drained surface, built to resist weed and algae growth.
