We completely cleared a tired concrete outdoor area to make way for a premium, wrap-around porcelain patio and matching connecting pathway. The finished project features a clean, contemporary design complete with seamlessly integrated, flush-fitting porcelain manhole covers.
The Project
Our client has an old, tired concrete slab patio and pathway that had become dated and no longer complemented the property. The project involved the complete removal and disposal of the existing patio and pathway, followed by the preparation of a new sub-base ready for the installation of a modern porcelain patio and pathway that wrapped around the property.
The Build
Following the removal of the existing concrete surfaces, the ground was carefully excavated and prepared to create a stable foundation. A new porcelain patio and connecting pathway were then installed using high-quality materials and precision workmanship. The project also required the integration of two manhole covers within the pathway. These were carefully cut and fitted with matching porcelain paving to ensure a neat, discreet finish that blended seamlessly with the surrounding surface.
The Result
The completed installation has transformed the outdoor space, replacing the worn concrete with a contemporary porcelain patio and pathway. Finished with a dark grey jointing compound, the paving delivers a clean, modern appearance while maintaining durability and low maintenance. The seamless incorporation of the manhole covers preserves the aesthetic of the design, providing the client with a high-quality outdoor area that enhances both the look and functionality of their property.
